Adventure in a volcano

Few months ago, I was doing an academic exchange in Puebla, Mexico. When i was living in Puebla I heard about one of the three volcanos around the city, and I discovered the smallest one, call La Malinzti, this is an inactive  volcano of 4,461 metres above sea level.

I searched on the internet to know if I can camp there, and the response was yes yes yes! So, a group of two friends and I decided to go. We choose to go on friday, sleep there and hike the volcano saturday in the morning.

We had planning the trip few days before friday, and the adventure results more amazing that what we ever think. We had made a bonfire, play cards and talk about our expectations about the trip.

We woke up early in the morning to hike the volcano but also because we were freezing

After ate something and drank a hot chocolate we start hiking.

 It was an amazing experience. The pine trees around us and the vegetation give us a beatiful view.

If you want to visit La Malinzti Volcano, theres a place call Centro Vacacional La Malintzi, wew you can check prices for accomodation, camping, and different ways to go from Tlaxcala,  Puebla or Apizaco, Tlaxcala.
